The Bluetooth Headset supports the new MotoSpeak application that reads text messages into your headset. So you can stay connected and responsible on and off the road. It also has amazing audio clarity with CrystalTalk dual microphones, and outstanding comfort with the most wearing options for total customization.
 

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE:

  • The MotoSpeak application that reads text messages is compatible only with phones using the Android operating system or Blackberry OS 4.5 and higher. The "Compatibility" tab includes a list of compatible phone models, but some older Blackberry models may not be updated to OS 4.5 or higher. See below for full compatibility and functionality information.

  • Use the MotoSpeak App with Motorola H17txt to automatically hear your texts through your headset, so you can drive responsibly. The free app reads the senders name from your contacts list, translates 150 acronyms and has a customized auto response.
  • The MotoSpeak App can be downloaded for free from the Android market or Blackberry apps.
  • RapidConnect: Simply flip open the boom mic to answer calls and close it to hang up. Keeping the boom closed when you're not using the headset turns it off, providing 2 benefits:
    1) It conserves the battery life
    2) It gives you the option of taking the call on your phone if you don't want to use the headset. With other Bluetooths that remain in standby mode, calls are automatically transferred to the headset which can be inconvenient if it isn't easily accessible.
