Wacky Wireless News: At Last, Bluetooth for Your Teeth
Posted on Jun 26th 2015
Have you ever wanted an app that meticulously tracks each stroke of your toothbrush? If you answered yes, you’re probably a dentist. Well, dentists and OCD-types can rejoice, because a product launching this month gives new meaning to Bluetooth technology. Oral B blandly named it the Pro 5000, but we think a more accurate name would have been the Bluetoothbrush.
It’s an electric toothbrush that encourages proper brushing with a congratulatory smiley face (not that you’ll be able to see it while your head's in the sink). Press the bristles too hard and be prepared to deal with an angry device that scolds you with a scathing unhappy face.
If you’re able to move forward from that, the Pro 5000 will also track your every brush stroke, collect data, chart your progress and even lets your dentist peek at your brushing habits, which means that the days of fibbing about your brushing habits are over.
So, if you are looking for a reason to use your Bluetooth device before showering in the morning, this would be a great solution for you.
