The Case for a Case

We all know people who like to live on the edge.  In the wireless world, perhaps they don't have a phone case.  We have learned that they fall into 2 categories:

1. They just haven't gotten around to it yet
2. They prefer the look and feel of a phone without a case

Then there are folks that want a case that can survive a 300 foot fall.  Yikes, hope that only the phone falls and not the user... 

So which is right you?  As long as you are prepared to use a case, that is a good start.  Next, there are a variety of options that can help provide solid protection without a lot of bulk. OtterBox is certainly a good idea as they are available for nearly every device and have an outstanding track record. 

Caution, the thinnest style cases might look and feel great, but their ability to diffuse impact at the most vulnerable point of a phone (the corner) might be minimal.
