iPhone 4S Announced - Accessories Now Available

Apple announced the release of the highly anticipated new iPhone, the iPhone 4S. While months of rumors suggested Apple was set to release an entirely new phone model – the supposed “iPhone 5,” Apple is utilizing the same body of the top-selling iPhone 4, with updated specs under the hood. The iPhone 4S will be released October 14 on Sprint, Verizon Wireless and AT&T.

IPhone 4S features include:

A full voice-controlled assistant that allows users to do virtually anything on their iPhone using their voice, including setting reminders, drafting text messages and e-mails, finding local listings, directions, and more.
An updated dual-core A5 processor is said to deliver up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics than the A4 chip in the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 4S camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and 1080p HD video recording that are said to compete with many point-and-shoot cameras on the market.

The iPhone 4S launch will also coincide with Apple rolling out its new mobile operating system, iOS 5. iOS 5 brings more than 200 new features to Apple smartphones, and can be downloaded for free on the iPhone 3GS and later.

iOS 5 updates include:

iCloud: Sync all of your devices wirelessly and automatically. Whatever’s on your iPhone is on your iPad, iPod, Mac or PC.
Notification Center serves as a hub for any of your missed calls or messages and app notifications. Just swipe from the top of any screen.
iMessage: Send messages to fellow iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users running iOS 5. Messages sent in iMessage are free and unlimited and include text, photos, video and more.
Reminders: The Built-In Ap that organizes your life into to-do lists. It can even set reminders that notify you when you arrive at or leave a set location.
Photo Editing: Touch up photos from your iPhone with crop, rotate, enhance and red-eye removal.
