iPhone 12 fans... Here’s something you need to know.

October’s Apple Event had many announcements. Apple is taking steps to reduce their carbon footprint and, as a result, will no longer be including a power adapter or headphones in the new iPhone boxes.

While it is true that many of us have extra Apple power adapters sitting in a drawer somewhere, don’t go rummaging around for them just yet. The cable included in the iPhone box is a USB-C to Lightning cable… meaning your old USB adapter won’t work with this new cable.

Of course, your regular Lightning charger will still work, but if you want to take advantage of the fast-charging cable that Apple is including, you’ll need a new wall adapter.
