Apple September Event Recap

On September 10th, Apple hosted an exciting event detailing some new products.

 

In case you missed it, here are some highlights:

 

Apple Watch Series 6

This show stopping watch boasts new color options, measures blood oxygen levels, and is 20% faster than the Series 5.

 

Apple Watch SE

A lower cost watch option is available for those that want to save a little money, and who don’t mind skipping out on the always-on display, blood oxygen measuring, and ECG app for detecting atrial fibrillation.

 

iPad Air

A redesigned, slim iPad Air is the first Apple device with Touch ID built into the power button. This 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display has a USB-C port and is 40% faster performing, with 30% faster graphics than its predessor.

This iPad Air will be available starting in October, and you can view accessories for this device here.

 

iOS 14

The new OS is here, and we are loving it so far. It is chock-full of new features. Google Chrome users, rejoice, as you can now set Chrome as your default browser. For those that use Outlook for work, you can also now set Outlook as your default email ... finally!

 

Apple One

Do you have a subscription to Apple Music, tv+, Arcade, or iCloud? Or maybe all of the above? If so, you can now bundle these services with Apple One. Their most affordable Individual Plan starts at $14.95/month, their mid-level Family Plan is $19.95/month, and the Premier Plan is $29.95/month.The Premier plan will include Fitness+, Apple's newest service of studio-style workouts. The coolest thing about Fitness+ is that it can sync to your Apple Watch to help track your heart rate to keep you working hard.
