Plantronics Refreshes the Popular CS and Savi Office Series

Starting this month you will see a whole new line up of your favorite Plantronics CS and Savi Series Wireless Headsets, and the upgrades are more than just skin deep. Improved voice quality, increased wireless range and hot-swappable batteries for unlimited talk time are just a few of the valuable improvements you will experience with Plantronics’ next generation of wireless office headsets. Read on to learn more about Plantronics’ updated features and specs for the CS and Savi Office Communications products.

Improvements in the new CS500 Wireless Office Headsets

Updated design: A sleeker, glossy base creates an elegant look.
Increased Range: You can now roam an additional 50 feet away from your desk (up to 350 ft. total).
Wideband Audio: The extended frequency range of the audio signal more closely resembles the natural range of the human voice. The result is a much clearer and more natural sounding call.
DECT 6.0: A voice-dedicated wireless communication standard that eliminates interference from wireless data devices.
Auto Subscription: Conference up to three additional CS500 or Savi W700 series headsets by simply docking the headset on the base.
EHS Cables and Handset Lifters (Consolidated): No matter how you choose to pick up your phone while away from your desk, now you can use the same Electronic Hook Switch Cable or Handset lifter for both your “CS” and “Savi” Series headsets.
Re-designed convertible headset: The totally re-designed CS540 convertible headset will replace Plantronics’ best selling wireless office headset, the CS55. It gains a new polished finish to match its glossy base. Weighing just 21 grams (7 less than the CS55), it is the lightest DECT headset on the market. Docking of the headset is now done magnetically.

Improvements in the new W700 Savi Wireless Office Headsets

Multi-device support: Along with PC and desk phone support, the new Savi can now also be paired with your mobile phone. Easily switch between and mix audio across devices through the controls on the base. The headset intelligently reconnects to your mobile phone when in range.
Wideband Audio: Wideband Audio is now supported for desk phones as well as PC.
Re-designed convertible headset: The totally re-designed W740/W740-M Convertible Savi headsets will replace the WO100/W101. Get unlimited talk time with an optional hot-swappable charging cradle kit (sold separately). A behind-the-neck wearing option is now available. Weighing just 21 grams (2 grams less than the WO100), it is the lightest DECT headset in the market. Docking of the headset is now done magnetically.
